St. Paul to Clear Encampments. Plus, Jacob Wetterling Doc and Fringe Fest
Tomorrow, St. Paul begins clearing one of its biggest unsheltered encampments. Where will people go next? The city doesn’t have a clear answer. Fringe Festival begins this week, a roving consortium of 100 plus performances under 60 minutes. For 11 days, we all become theatre critics. Finally, the 1989 abduction of Jacob Wetterling in St. Joseph changed childhoods across the country. Director Chris Newberry of “Echoes in the Night: The Search for Jacob Wetterling” tells us how he walked with the Wetterling family as they pushed for answers – and finally got them.
