An iron foundry in St. Paul and a shingle factory in Minneapolis are both under scrutiny for polluting their once-redlined neighborhoods. Sahan Journal environmental justice reporter Andrew Hazzard joins the show to share why these facilities ended up in such densely populated areas, and a new law that aims to prevent further pollution of our neighborhoods. Later, Frogtown Community Radio station co-director Katey DeCelle and Frogtown Tuned In president Phillip Gracia join to talk about WFNU hitting 10 years on the air and their upcoming celebration on Saturday Aug. 1. Composer and producer Adrian Younge of Jazz is Dead also joins the show to run down his top five Twin Cities records of all time ahead of his Big Show at Indeed Brewing, which is also on Saturday.
